A brand spanking new mobile developer based in France has announced its launch line-up of four games; what looks like a platformer, a shoot-'em-up and two puzzlers.

"Our primary focus for our summer line-up was to deliver a broad range of innovative titles that would appeal to everyone," says Dimitris Tsiflitzis, managing director of Sprimp. "We are excited to unveil these four titles this season."

And well they might be. Despite the slightly unpronounceable titles, Sprimp's fledgling games look very colourful and not a little bit interesting. The founding games in Sprimp's list are:

Bloxy
Swap blocks of the same colour from a horizontal or vertical line to match three or more and score points. Make continuous chains to get combo-multiplier points.

Targax
Take control of the super weapon and eliminate all the intruders as they appear on the screen. Collect power ups for extra points and energy as you fight through the celestial backgrounds.

Zalastar
You are the chosen one. Pilot the ship that will save your planet and prevent the stars from reaching the surface. Zalaztar features 27 levels, bonus items and power-ups as you fly your way to victory.

Robotaki (pictured)
In this fast paced platformer you must guide the hero (Robotaki) through eight challenging levels. Release the valves on the tanks containing the green goo to weaken the Big Eye. But watch out, he will do anything to stop you.

An eclectic mix of games featuring intriguingly stylised visuals, we're sure you'll agree. Demos of Sprimp's launch titles are available from its official webpage, and as always you can hit 'Track It!' to stay informed right here on Pocket Gamer.

Spanner Spencer
Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
