Robot Unicorn Attack goes festive in Christmas Edition

Adult Swim is getting into the festive mood early this year, with a special Christmas edition for one of its top games: Robot Unicorn Attack.

As you can imagine, Robot Unicorn Attack: Christmas Edition is very similar to its non-winter-themed counterpart, swapping out the pink candy land for a snowy landscape, and dropping Erasure's Always, for the more timely Christmas Time by British rockers The Darkness.

The game is a Canabalt-esque score attack game, where you guide a galloping unicorn through a tricky assault course by choosing when to leap gracefully in the air, and when to mow down obstacles with his powerful horn.

It’s also got Game Center support. Yours, for just 59p / 99c / €0.79c.

Last year, the developer also released Amateur Surgeon: Christmas Edition. The free app lets you perform life saving operations on an elf, a polar bear, a reindeer and the big red man himself, Santa. The game has received a bug fix for iOS 4 devices, just in time for Christmas 2010.
