Real Racing 2 the most acclaimed iPhone game of 2010

Pocket Gamer whipped out its Platinum Award stamp just twice in 2010: once for Monkey Island 2 LeChuck's Revenge: Special Edition and once for Real Racing 2. Firemint's $2m racer is a masterclass in how to make a polished, playable, hardcore racer for Apple's handheld gaming platforms.
The rest of the critical establishment evidently agreed that Real Racing 2 is a stone cold classic, as Pocket Gamer sister site Quality Index has identified it as the most critically acclaimed game of 2010, with an average score of 9.5 across 12 reviews.
The rest of the top ten includes two games from Gameloft – Modern Combat 2 and N.O.V.A. 2 –, Chillingo hit Cut the Rope, and ChAIR's breathtaking Infinity Blade at number three.
