First screenshots for Firemint's anticipated iPhone racer Real Racing 2

Australian developer Firemint has released the first three screenshots for Real Racing 2.

Real Racing, which hit the App Store to universal acclaim in 2009, appeared in Apple's top five list of iPhone apps following the iPhone 4 launch. News of the sequel landed recently on Pocket Gamer's doormat, and Firemint has apparently been working hard to get the game ready for a pre-Christmas launch.

Real Racing 2 features a fleet of real cars, including the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette C6.R, the 2010 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500, the 2010 #33 Jaguar RSR XKR GT, and several others. Firemint promises ten hours of gameplay in the Career mode and a range of features, including in-game currency, unlockable content, performance enhancements, and resprays.
