iPhone RPG Ravensword delayed due to rejection by Apple

Ravensword: The Fallen King has been rejected by Apple caused further delay to the game's release, Crescent Moon Games CEO Josh Presseisen informed us moments ago.

According to Presseisen, code hidden within the Unity engine used by the game was flagged by Apple. The same APIs were used by iMobsters developer Storm8 to solicit contact information from players.

While Ravensword and other Unity-built games do not collect information from users, Apple rejected the game and others as a measure to prevent such from happening again.

Presseisen told us there was "nothing we could do about it," that the APIs within the Unity engine weren't being exploited. As such, they've since been removed and the game has been resubmitted.

"Its been quite overwhelming," he tells us.

Following an initial delay from the game's expected October release, this additional setback will likely have the game hitting the App Store near the end of November.
