Ragdoll Blaster 2 soon to be crashing onto App Store
All-new look for action physics puzzler
Hugely successful first time around, Backflip Studios' Ragdoll Blaster 2 is due for release soon, and is shaping up to be even better than the original.
For one thing, the art style has completely changed, with the sketchy, hand drawn theme replaced with more realistic, solid and mechanical take on the action.
Of course, you're still doing the same thing: firing ragdolls at cunningly hidden targets, and in the process overcoming physically-based puzzles.
For example, sometimes you have to hit other cannons to gain control of them, bounce the dolls off springs, or activate buttons and switches. Some puzzles are purely twitch-based with you having a split second to hit a moving target before it's out of range.
And with 150 levels promised, there's sure to be plenty of additional variation.
You can get some idea of what you'll be getting up to in the following video.
The game also uses the Plus+ social gaming network for achievements, high scores and leaderboards.
Ragdoll Blaster 2 is due for release at the start of March.
