According to a tweet from Q Entertainment producer James Mielke, some of the designers behind the critically acclaimed rhythm-action titles Rez and Lumines are working on a similar game for iOS.

Mielke took to the social network earlier this morning, saying: "Hey, guys. A brand-new rhythm-action-music-shooting game is hitting iOS *SOON* by core members of the Rez, Lumines, and Child of Eden teams."

Headed by industry luminary Tetsuya Mizuguchi (the mastermind behind all of the genre-defining games listed above), Q Entertainment has largely focused on console hardware, with its Silver Award-winning Lumines Electronic Symphony gracing the PS Vita earlier this year.

While Lumines - Touch Fusion did find its way onto the App Store back in 2009, Q Entertainment has remained relatively quiet on the iOS front - until now, that is.

Though we don't know quite how soon "*SOON*" will be, we'll definitely keep our ears to the ground regarding any further announcements.
