iPhone gets finger friendly with Twister-esque Q?pid

What about iPhone games as match-maker?

That's the goal of the new release from Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment - Q?pid.

A two player game, you both have to move the onscreen markers in a single gesture to reveal a mystery photo.

The puzzles get progressively more difficult as the number of markers increase, so you must combine co-operation and digital dexterity in order to clear each new photo.

Q Entertainment reckons it will be a social ice-breaker, if not a romantic fire starter.

"Q?pid isn't only a cute and fun game, but also a social experiment," says Shiji Utsumi, Q Entertainment's president. "We can't wait to hear stories of romance and flirtation facilitated by our app."

You can see how it works in what's described as 'an adult situation'.

Indeed, as well as the main mode, there's also an Edit mode, so you can enter personalised messages, photos or pictures, and add music from your iTunes library to create a special experience for your playing friend.
