Puzzle Quest 2 matching up with Windows Phone 7 and Android soon

Namco Bandai’s addictive gem-matching RPG Puzzle Quest 2 has a couple more platforms in its sights.

After launching on Xbox Live Arcade, PC, and DS earlier this year, and making the leap to iPhone and iPad this month, the game will make its next leap to Windows Phone 7 and Android.

Puzzle Quest 2 will hit Windows Phone 7 before the year is out, says Namco, and an Android version will release in early 2011.

The game has you lining up coloured gems, sacks of gold, and demonic skulls. Matches give you mana points and extra loot or let you unleash a deadly attack against your fantasy enemy.

The universal app is available now on iPhone and iPad for £5.99 / $9.99 / €7.99.
