Double Fine launches free Psychonauts Vault Viewer! companion app for iPhone and iPad
A visual treat
Although popular platformer Psychonauts hit the PC and a range of consoles back in 2005, it has only just become playable on Apple's range of Macs, thanks to Valve's digital distribution platform Steam and the Mac App Store.
To celebrate its long-awaited arrival, developer Double Fine has released Psychonauts Vault Viewer!, an iOS companion app that features all of the Memory Vaults - slideshows of people's memories - from the classic game.
The app also packs in a special audio commentary for each slide, which has been recorded by Psychonauts creator Tim Schafer and artist Scott Campbell.
The Psychonauts Vault Viewer! is a Universal app, meaning it's compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
