Pinball meets racing in new mobile game

And whaddya know, it's called Pro Pinball: Big Race USA

Pinball meets racing in new mobile game

Beetles are great. There should be more mobile racing games with Beetles in.

In fact, someone should sign a licensing deal with Volkswagen to make a game where you just drive Beetles at hair-raising speeds, with the phone's vibration being used to mimic the rattling such activities would generate in the real world.

Pro Pinball: Big Race USA isn't that game, but it does have Beetles in it. And Minis, too, which scores bonus points for publisher LemonQuest.

It's a strange hybrid, being half racing (you drive a taxi across the US, picking up passengers and facing off against lorries, sports cars, Minis and Beetles) and half pinball (where you slam a ball around the screen).

The screenshots look like pinball is the focus, though. Either way, we're intrigued, so click 'Track It!' for an email when we get our hands on the game to find how it all works.

We'll also keep you posted if anyone runs with our Beetle game idea, obviously.
