Prince of Persia: The Fallen King gets release date

Prince of Persia: The Fallen King for DS will be released on December 5th, Ubisoft has just announced. The game will ship simultaneously with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the latest Prince of Persia.

The Fallen King has been designed uniquely for DS. Its plot follows the Prince as he flees from danger to a deserted kingdom that turns out to have been touched by the 'evil Corruption' - a substance that contaminates the land. The Prince then is forced to fight this Corruption, with the help of a semi-corrupted magician who appears at his side and says he wants to help. Well, beggars can't be choosers.

While the Prince has the usual acrobatic moves at his disposal, there have also been new ones added to the mix. Plus the magician is there with spells needed to solve some puzzles and defeat certain enemies. So the action is distinctly different to the games that have gone before it.
