Premier League Darts coming to mobile

Luna Games gets the rights to put the oche on your phone

Premier League Darts coming to mobile

We love playing darts. We're just not very good at it. At least, that's our excuse for leaving fellow pubgoers looking like pin-cushions (angry, shouting pin-cushions to be specific) whenever we have a game.

Frankly, mobile darts are safer, which is why we're pleased to hear that Luna Games has snapped up the rights to release official games based on the Holsten Premier League Darts competition.

That's the one where eight big-name darters (is that the right word?) compete in a round-robin competition across the UK, spread over several weeks.

Luna Games has just released a Premier League Darts game actually, which we've reviewed. But it looks like this agreement is more longterm, covering several games over the coming years.

Anyway, the announcement talks about including a "unique targeting system" to make the game fast and easy to play, and will enable players create their own profiles, including inserting their photos taken with their phone camera.

Luna Games will also be producing associated mobile applications for the PDC. Click 'Track It!' to be alerted when we have more info (and proper screenshots) of the future games.
