We quite enjoyed THQ Wireless' dinosaur-meets-Theme Park mobile sim Prehistoric Fun Park. And so it seems did you, as a sort of sequel's being prepared in the form of Prehistoric Tribes.

This one seems to be more along the lines of Bullfrog's god game Populous as you control the actions of the tribesmen, both in terms of resource gathering for food, building materials and weapons, as well as day-to-day actions such as harvesting, hunting, fishing and cooking. You'll also have to expand your village with building options including stores, the chief's hut, a gym, kitchens and a sandpit.

But, of course, this wouldn't be a god game without some violence so missions will include defending your village and attacking your enemies, with close or ranged combat moves promised.

Prehistoric Tribes is due to be released sometime during April.
