Unofficial Pokemon Tower Defense released on Android

Unofficial Pokemon Tower Defense released on Android

The release of Pokemon Black/White earlier this month sparked a renewed spell of Pokemon fever on the DS, which may have left owners of other mobile devices feeling a little left out.

With the prospect of Nintendo releasing an official version on another platform remote, developer Sam and Dan Games has decided to release a tower defence homage to the series on Android in the form of Pokemon Tower Defense.

As the name suggests, the game is of the tower defence variety, but it also incorporates many RPG elements.

Players are able to roam the Kanto region searching for new Pokemon to use in battle. These Pokemon can learn new moves and be levelled up to ten. The game is currently in the alpha stage of development with more levels and fixes promised. It’s also free to download from the Android Market, probably until Nintendo’s lawyers find out.
