Pocket Legends updated with Xperia Play controls and in-app billing

You may have dismissed the Xperia Play when it first arrived (yes, I’m talking to you), but there’s an increasing number of games on the Android Market that are being updated to take advantage of the handset’s unique physical buttons.

The latest to join the list is top MMORPG Pocket Legends, which makes sense as it relies just as much on movement and action as it does on grinding and dungeons.

Pocket Legends’s latest update also adds in-app billing, which means you can now purchase the slew of real-money items without having to faff about and leave the app. Basically, it’s become easier to spend all your cash on fictional goods.

Developer SpaceTime Legends also dropped a few fact bombs on the party as the update landed, including the fact that the game has attracted over 4 million players and cost over $10 million to make.

Who said making mobile games was cheap?
