Pocket Gamer is looking for interns to cut their teeth at Europe's biggest and the world's best handheld gaming site. This is an excellent opportunity to accumulate a body of published work, make some valuable contacts, and benefit from the wisdom of several industry veterans while witnessing the cogs of media in motion.

Bath-based publisher seeks interns for up to three months experience working on the production of leading games and technology websites and magazines from July onwards. This unpaid position would suit a university graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the Media industry. Successful candidates will be able to work alongside and learn from a team with over 50 years experience at the top level of news stand and contract magazines and websites, get an understanding for the production process, and genuinely contribute to the running of live projects. Initially the role will require you to work through data entry, building up confidence to create commissioned editorial and working on a variety of editorial projects associated with our leading consumer websites. No experience of publishing is necessary: we simply require good organisational and personal skills, a high standard of written English, and preferably an interest in technology and games. The successful candidate will see his or her writing published alongside some of the UK’s most experienced video game journalists. The candidate must be able to confidently work within a team environment whilst showing initiative when needed.
