Freelance Roles

Freelance Writers (UK)

If a full time job's not your thing, don't despair. We're also on the look out for a few new freelance writers to join our elite team of reviewers and feature writers.

Suffice to say we have high journalistic standards, you'll need to be passionate and knowledgeable about portable gaming and preferably funny, too.

Should you be selected however the rewards are considerable. In addition to the fame (of appearing on the site) and small fortune (these are paid reviews), we will also provide feedback to improve your writing and online journalistic presence.

Freelance Writers (Elsewhere)

Right now we're also looking for writers based in regions beyond our fair shores, specifically Europe, the Americas and Asia in order to provide us with regular correspondence on local markets.

You will need high quality written English as well as an interest and awareness of events in your region.

If you're a pen for hire and reckon you're up to the challenge, fire an e-mail entitled 'Pocket Gamer Freelance' to [email protected] with some details of your experience and areas of expertise plus two examples of reviews/features (or links to examples) of your work.

Sadly, we can't promise to reply to every mail we receive, but we will read everything we're sent... unless it's rude.
