Pocket Gamer iPhone and iPad gaming podcast: Episode 167 - The new iPad, Mass Effect 3 Datapad, The Sims FreePlay, MotoHeroz, Cut the Rope, birthdays

This week, it's down to Peter, Keith, and me to discuss the latest happenings in the world of iPhone and iPad gaming (Jon is still away in the US).

In between deliberately annoying Peter by comparing iOS games to his favourite arty hits, we have time to talk about Pocket Gamer turning six years old; ask, 'who on earth would want the Mass Effect 3 Datapad, anyway?'; and discuss Ben Cousins's remarks on consoles "dying" (short answer = 'no').

The New Releases section is a little chaotic this week, due to there being a fair few to race through. G5 Games has - surprise, surprise - a new title out for us to look at, albeit not quite as great as last week's release.

We're really not on the ball when it comes to new games this week in What We've Been Playing, with Peter finally getting around to Cut the Rope, while I try and kill my inhabitants in The Sims FreePlay. Thankfully, Keith's been playing MotoHeroz over the past few days, so we're not completely out of the loop.
