Pocket Gamer iPhone gaming podcast: Episode 148 - Modern Combat 3, Gameloft hacking, Angry Birds kart

With no Keith and Jon this week, I’ve sought out the services of the mysterious and elusive editor of Pocket Gamer, Rob Hearn.

It’s a bit more of a discussion-based podcast as a result, with us two debating whether all games are essentially about revenge (they’re not), and a very long rambling story about Monkey Island, which I subsequently cut (it was really long).

But don’t despair. We do actually talk about quite a lot of news this week as well, including Rovio’s claim that it will be taking Angry Birds in a new direction, more on Gameloft’s hacking debacle, and Steve Jobs (possibly) not liking Google much.

Reviews-wise, we tackle Modern Combat 3, The Adventures of Tinti: The Game, and Russian Dancing Men. I have banned all mention of Whale Trail.
