iPhone and iPad gaming podcast: Episode 115 - iPad 2, Minecraft, Hector episode 2, Tiny Wings, Starfront: Collision

It’s the week between major conferences, so everyone from Tracy, Jon, and Will right through to the Rumour Miner himself has been working overtime to get the hottest news, rumours, and game reviews out before the deluge that is the Games Developers Conference.

In terms of news this week, the iPad 2’s (almost) been announced, so we discuss what it will/might/probably won't be; Telltale’s readying Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2, which leads us to talk about what makes a good adventure game; and everyone’s (read: 'Will’s') favourite PC Indie game Minecraft is officially heading to iOS.

The Rumour Mine is spilling over with golden fact nuggets, including news on a new version of Game Center for the iPad 2, and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX coming to iOS (possibly without in-app purchases).

The What We’ve Been Playing section is ahead of the game, with Jon having played Tiny Wings before it exploded in popularity, while Tracy uses all his self-restraint to talk about how great Starfront: Collision is on iPhone without wondering if it’ll be better on iPad.
