iPhone and iPad gaming podcast: Episode 103 - RAGE, Star Wars: Imperial Academy, Kingdom Conquest, Trade Nations, Lord of the Rings: Middle Earth Defence

The stars must have been aligned, because Tracy, Jon, and Will all managed to play at least one game that the others had played.

That game was, rather predictably, RAGE, and the team give their thoughts on id’s on-rails shooter in this week’s episode.

Elsewhere there’s an absolute shed-load of unreleased or new games we’ve been playing, including the (now) spiritual successor to Eliminate – Star Wars Imperial Academy – potentially impressive tap-puzzler, Push Panic, and top tower defence sequel Sentinel 3.

In terms of things everyone can join in on, Tracy and Will have both been building their empires in Kingdom Conquest, Will’s been also trying his hand at trading in Trade Nations, and Jon’s been defending ‘useless’ hobbits in Lord of the Rings: Middle Earth Defence.

While this episode may be a linear journey and not the free-roaming experience you were expecting from such a well-respected podcast studio, do remember that you can scrub left and right at any point.
