Ben’s connection problems lead to a coup by Will to take the host crown, and Tracy had to leave halfway through recording – it was a little bit of a manic recording session this week.

Using the magic of Logic’s large sound effects library, we manage to cover up many of the cracks. Not all, mind, but ‘many’.

In any case, the team managed to cover quite a bit of news ranging from the latest chapter in the Edge saga to the inspiration behind Angry Birds.

The Rumour Miner was cut short this week after divulging some terrible news on Final Fantasy Tactics, so instead Ben and Will used the opportunity to have an extended ‘What we’ve been playing’, with both rallying against the horrors of Super Mega Worm.

External work was plugged without mercy, sound effects pillaged without prejudice, and answers to reader’s questions skilfully danced around.
