iPhone and iPad gaming podcast – cancelled due to tools

There are two golden rules when recording: make sure the mics are switched on, and make sure you have an infinite number of recorders running. Alas, even with three functioning mics and two people recording, the podcast slipped through our fingers this week.

It was a good one, too. Tracy completely flipped out, attacking Ben in what can only be described as a blind rage. We discussed the sudden price drop on App Store games, moaned about the new price of Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies, and why Sega chose the iPhone as the first platform for Sonic 4.

We also answered two of the questions posed in the comments last week - 'Why is Tracy so angry' and 'What is the next step for Apple when it comes to iPhone gaming?'. You can try and second-guess our replies in the comments thread below - we promise not to change our answers that much.

The team will be out of hospital next week at the usual time to record once more. We’ll be answering the questions from last week, as well as any new ones you post either here or on Twitter, and there’ll be the usual smattering of vaguely interesting news, rumours, banter, and jazz. Cool, sweet jazz.

(Jazz subject to availability).

Will's obsession with gaming started off with sketching Laser Squad levels on pads of paper, but recently grew into violently shouting "Tango Down!" at random strangers on the street. He now directs that positive energy into his writing (due in no small part to a binding court order).
