Plants vs Zombies shuffles onto Windows Phone

I think we can safely say now that PopCap’s cute-yet-deadly riff on the tower defence genre has found its way onto every format in existence with the release of Plants vs Zombies on Windows Phone.

Making its debut on the platform as part of the Must Have games promotion, Plants vs Zombies puts you in charge of the former, as you prevent a group of comical zombies shambling into your house.

Naturally, the Windows Phone version comes with a whole bunch of Gamerscore boosting achievements for you to aim for, as well as the four game modes from the original, 50 levels, and a sly sense of humour.

The game picked up a rare Pocket Gamer Gold Award on its iPhone debut, so it comes highly recommended.

You can download Plants vs Zombies from the Zune Marketplace now for £3.99.
