Plants vs Zombies HD for iPad gets a whopping 70 per cent price cut in PopCap's 'Crazy Dave' sale

Plants vs Zombies has taken pretty much every mobile platform by the bulbs, with a recent DSiWare release and a Windows Phone announcement joining the iOS and Android versions already available.

iPad owners can feel the smuggest of the lot today as Plants vs Zombies HD has had its price slashed from £3.99/$6.99 to just £1.19/$1.99 - a massive 70 per cent cut.

In case you haven't experienced its pleasures, Plants vs Zombies is PopCap's impeccable take on the tower defence formula. The game involves using various plants and other garden objects to repel a zombie onslaught.

We awarded the garden variety zombie explode-'em-up a Gold Award back in April last year, so anyone with an iPad who doesn't already own it should snap it up now.
