National Geographic 'Plan it Green' iPhone app

Plan it Green puts you in the role of the recently elected Mayor of Greenville who must turn the burnt out, industrial mess into a thriving, sustainable community. Your weapon? Completing a wide range of projects, of course.

Each district needs a green overhaul, which means you can build eco-homes aplenty, develop environmentally clean jobs and industries, and implement green agriculture. Definitely not an app for Jeremy Clarkson, then.

There are two modes - Campaign and Free Play - with eight neighborhoods across 45 levels to transform into more emission-friendly hubs. You can also enjoy various eco upgrades for your communties, the press release tells us.

It sounds interesting, but is it enough to make other apps green with envy?

Plan it Green will be out soon on the App Store.
