Jack Sparrow is back for some more phone-based swashbuckling

More mobile action for Pirates Of The Carribbean

You can't keep a good pirate down. Well, you can if you make him walk the plank with an anchor attached to his ankle. But there's no need to get pedantic.

The point is that big-screen pirate Jack Sparrow is back with a new mobile game, Pirates Of The Carribbean: At World's End. Published by Disney Mobile, the game will let you play as Jack himself, or as Will Turner.

Your mission: duff up enemies, snag as much booty as one man can carry, and end it all by seeing off Davy Jones himself. Marvellous.

Besides the core side-scrolling platformer mode, there'll be other modes to play too, such as cannon battles, ship-to-ship, and the fun-sounding Swashbuckling mode.

All this, and there's plenty of bottles of grog to be yo-ho-ho along the way (or you could just drink them, of course). Disney is also promising online high-score tables, enabling every man and his parrot to test their skills against the rest of Europe.

Pirates Of The Carribbean: At World's End is out soon to tie-in with the next movie, so click 'Track It!' to be alerted when we have a review.
