Hats off to Mobile Amusements, which has managed to make an unofficial Olympics mobile game whose name alone has brought a great big smile to our faces today.

That name? Piglympics. And for those of you who haven't just guessed what it's about, I'll tell you. It's the Olympics. With pigs.

It'll have five events to play (high jump, hurdles and long jump are three of them, judging by the screenshots) and promises simple controls and cutesy characters to keep your interest up.

What's more, it'll have online high-score tables, and will support the Zeemote JS1 Bluetooth joystick on certain Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets.

I haven't played the game yet, so can't say if it's any good or not. But the idea is marvellous, so hopefully it'll live up to its promise. Now, if only someone could remake Pro Evolution Soccer in the same vein…
