Win a pair of tickets to the PDC World Darts Championship - EXTENSION

[The competition has been extended until Wednesday].

Most sports involve feats of athleticism and co-ordination performed by men and women with perfect bodies and the discipline to maintain them through gruelling daily exercise.

And then there's darts. You could easily mistake the average darts player for a truck driver or a refinery worker, such is their tendency to overdrink, overeat, and adorn their forearms with tattoos. Darts players don't look like athletes. They look, well, ordinary.

But there's nothing ordinary about the ability they have to repeatedly guide a small metal dart across eight feet of pub carpet and into exactly the right part of a dartboard.

At a glance, darts isn't particularly thrilling. But take the time to follow a whole match and you get slowly hypnotised by the steady thud of the darts hitting cork and the tension that grows before each shot.

Thanks to Metro Apps and iPhone darts game Phil Taylor Power Play Darts you have the opportunity to witness a darts match in person. The publisher is offering three pairs of tickets for the full 7pm-12am session at the PDC World Darts Championship on Wednesday 22nd December at Alexandra Palace in London.

All you need to do to put yourself in the running is answer the following question:

What is the highest score achievable with three darts? a) 160
b) 170
c) 180
