Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary iPhone gets San Francisco specific level for GDC

In a spine-tingling example of a developer blurring the line between fantasy and reality, Ogmento has announced that it will be adding a city-specific layer to its augmented reality iPhone game Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary.

Attendees at this week’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco can participate in real world missions set in haunted locations in the City by the Bay. Brian Selzer, president and co-founder of Ogmento, is quoted in the press release. "We had a great time adding missions in the game based on real haunted locations in the city including Alcatraz and the Curran Theater."

Released in January, Paranormal Activity: Sanctuary is a free to play augmented reality game mobile game inspired by the film franchise that allows players to turn their home town, office, or neighbourhood into a level.
