I-play’s new match-three puzzler Paradise Quest has made its way to the Android Marketplace.

Starting life as a popular PC game, it saw an iPhone release earlier in the year. Now it’s the turn of Android to see some colourful tile-matching action.

Paradise Quest evidently takes its cues from Jewel Quest, requiring you to swap coloured tiles in order to form lines of three or more, and tying it all in with a lengthy story (this time with an ecological theme).

But it branches out considerably from other similar games by offering large scrolling levels to negotiate - form a match near the edge of the screen and play will shift in that direction.

There’s also a host of gesture-activated special powers to unlock and a variety of goals to reach on your way to restoring a ruined tropical island, which goes to illustrate that Paradise Quest has ideas well above its match three puzzler station.

Paradise Quest is available now for $1.99 in both HD (Suitable for G1/NexusOne/Droid and other devices with screens 320x480 or greater) and SD (Suitable for Tattoo and other devices with 240x320 screens) versions.

We'll have a review for you soon.
