Most downloaded iOS game ever Paper Toss gets new free World Tour edition

It's already hit 50 million downloads on iOS in various (mainly) free and paid versions - and has been named by Apple as the #1 most downloaded game in the App Store of all time and the #10 most downloaded app of all time - but there's plenty of life left in Backflip Studios' Paper Toss it seems.

Indeed, with the promise of Paper Toss Social - it allows you to "play, compete, challenge and communicate with friends on iOS, Android and Facebook" - due in the summer, the US studio is preparing the ground by making its previously Paper Toss: World Tour free.

Hoops no cash

Technically, paid versions of the game do remain in the App Store for iPhone and iPad, but using the moniker Paper Toss: World Tour - Now Free, you can now get either version paying out no dough.
