Android social gaming platform PapayaMobile has teamed up with Applications for Good (A4G) - an enterprise that helps developers create apps that "catalyze social and economic development" - to promote positive mobile games.

A4G already works with corporations, philanthopic organisations, and developers to help its users enter the "economic mainstream". This partnership will give A4G access to PapayaMobile's expertise, social gaming tools, and monetisation mechanisms, ultimately spreading the word making more money for good causes.

PapayaMobile will also create a 'Games for Good' section on its platform to aid discovery.

“At Papaya, we constantly see the benefits of game mechanics and monetization in the mobile virtual world,” says Si Shen, CEO of PapayaMobile. “Papaya is committed to bringing the benefits of the virtual world to the real world for people who need our assistance.”

“We believe that when developers realize they can make a difference, they are very likely to produce games that go beyond entertainment,” said Arthur Grau, Community Manager of A4G. “We look forward to new apps that are fun while promoting better health, learning and prosperity.”
