There aren't enough mobile games with bloody great tanks in, but HandyGames is attacking that problem with gusto.

The company is bringing DS strategy game Panzer Tactics to phones, and has just released the first screenshots of the mobile version.

Although actual details are thin on the ground, the aim is to create as realistic a conversion as possible of the game, which in its original incarnation is a turn-based strategy game set in a World War II environment.

While the hex-based maps will give hardcore wargamers some fond memories, by putting it on phones, HandyGames hopes to help the genre appeal to gamers who've never spent whole nights in front of their PCs wearing secondhand camouflage gear.

We'll have a review for you eventually, so click 'Track It!' to be sent an alert when it's published. In the meantime, if you want more info on Panzer Tactics' DS incarnation check out our interview with the developers here.
