Bram Stoker’s Dracula coming to iPad for Halloween 2010

Padworx Digital Media is bringing Bram Stoker’s original horror classic to iPhone as an interactive ebook with a twist.

The title will be the first ebook built from the ground up using Padworx’s game engine. The result could be a very interesting blend of genres: part ebook, part game.

Among the interactive elements you can expect to see lighting up text with a lantern, blowing leaves from tombstones, and uncovering secret messages using your own ‘blood’.

On top of the 300 pages of text and animations, Padworx’s Dracula will come with its own original soundtrack, and eighteen songs from indie acts like Adaline, Eve and the Ocean, and Emily Spiller.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula for iPad should be available in time for Halloween. No price has been announced.
