The PSP's web browsing features are great for staying up-to-date with sites while you're not at your computer. Read our guide to learn a really simple way of keeping track of what's been going on in the world, and how to have it presented to you as a neat list of article summaries and links.

On your home computer go to Bloglines.com. Click Register in the top right to begin setting up an account.

Fill in all of your details and click Register. You need to use a real email address, as you will be sent an email to confirm that you are who you say you are. Click the link inside the emailed message to do this. How to get PSP news pic 2

Click My Feeds at the top left of the Bloglines window. You're probably not interested in the feed they automatically add, so click on Edit then click Bloglines News in the list that appears. Click Trash to delete it. You can do this if you want to delete anything you add yourself at a later date. How to get PSP news pic 3

Now you need to begin adding feeds. Sites that Bloglines can read will almost always have an RSS notice or logo somewhere on their homepage, like the one Pocket Gamer has in the left hand column of every page. Click Pocket Gamer's and you'll be taken to a list of all the different feeds we've got. We decided here to start with Just How To guides. Right click the link and select Copy Link Location. Head back to Bloglines. Click My Feeds again then click Add. Right click in the box that appears and select Paste. You should see the Pocket Gamer PSP RSS address link you copied in the box. Click Subscribe.

Grab your PSP and start the web browser (see Pocket Gamer's guide for help setting it up). Press 'Triangle' to bring up the address bar and press 'up' to select it. Press 'X' and type in the address: http://www.bloglines.com/mobile. Press 'X' on My Feeds and select Pocket Gamer to see what we've got for you to read. You can view older items by choosing a longer time period in the drop-down menu at the bottom. Press 'X' on an article's headline to jump to the website and get the full story.
