Star Ocean: Second Evolution PSP announced for Europe

Square Enix has announced the previously Japan-only Star Ocean: Second Evolution will be released on PSP across Europe next Spring.

The game - which is an enhanced remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story, released in 1998 on PlayStation - comes with a revised game engine, improved battle system and new fully-voiced animated scenes.

Set in Space Date 366, you play a young Federation officer who has found himself transported to a mystical planet, unexpectedly anointed as the Hero of the Light and tasked with saving a new-found race. That's a day he isn't going to forget.

Battles are played out in real-time and a private action system adds depth to the story and introduces sub-plots between characters.

An exact release date is yet to be confirmed - but look out for Star Ocean: Second Evolution next Spring. Click 'Track It!' and we'll keep you up to date on all the latest Star Ocean news.
