Sony confirms release dates for biggest summer PSP games
echochrome now coming just in time for our hols
Sony has unveiled release dates for three of its biggest PSP releases – Secret Agent Clank, echochrome and ATV Offroad Fury Pro – as reported by MCV.
Secret Agent Clank (pictured), a platforming spin-off from the Ratchet and Clank series, has been dated for June 25th. You can check out a video of the ninja-kicking robot in action here.
Meanwhile, the intriguing puzzle game echochrome is confirmed for a June 6th release (even if the official PlayStation site continues to maintain it's due in May). This is one we're eagerly awaiting, just because its monochrome, almost pencil line drawn-looking visuals are so unique and it seems a bit similar to Sega's Crush, which was great. Except, instead of 'crushing' levels to change their perspective you just rotate the camera to block gaps and alter walkways for your mannequin man to make it safely to an end point in each level.
Finally, the latest ATV bike driving extravaganza from Sony, ATV Offroad Fury Pro, is set for release on June 18th.
So June's looking like a packed and expensive month for PSP owners. Which at least will make up for how quiet April's been on the games release front for the format. And all these games will be coming just in time for the summer holidays too. Coincidence? Yeah, right.
