If keeping track of your PSP's media files is an irksome task, you've probably turned to Sony's Media Manager for PSP software to help you transfer your stuff - especially once it was made available for free.
Accessing the PlayStation Store was a significant part of Media Manager's profile, but with the new 3.0 version you can get into the Store directly from the PSP itself - something Sony-based pocket gamers have been wanting to do for some time.
Whether prompted by the iPhone or simply as an extension of Sony's rejuvenation of the console, we can't say for sure. Not that it really matters, so long as you can go surfing and shopping from the comfort of your console.
Head on over to the official site to grab the new Media Manager application for 'nowt.

The new Media Manager allows you to access the Store from your PC much like the old web based Playstation Store, NOT from the PSP. That was sorted out in firmware version 5.00.
Also, this is the first version that's integrated the Playstation Store into the Media Manager software. The previous version only had a link to the Playstation Store website.
