Japanese magazine spills new Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep PSP details

All has been a bit quiet on the new PSP Square Enix game Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep lately. So you can forgive us for leaping all over these few snippets of new info like newborn lambs over white picket fences (or does that not really happen?).

The information has originated from Japanese game magazine Famitsu, which ran three pages on Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in its latest issue, as well as info (and footage) that has since come out of Square Enix's DK[SIGMA]3713 event, with the following highlights courtesy of PSP Fanboy. Admittedly these are details only the most ardent of Kingdom Hearts fans are probably going appreciate, but we're guessing there must be a few of you out there.

First then, the game's new enemies will be called Unbirths. Although there's nothing more on them apart from that. (Hey, we warned you the pickings would be slim.)

Second, there's news that Xehanort (a Keyblade Master) and Maleficent are both after the Princesses of Hearts (the seven maidens you're protecting in the game).

Then, there are details about Ven's level, which is set in the Castle of Dreams, Cinderella's World. The level sees Ven cooperating with Jaq the mouse to collect materials to make Cinderella's dress. After the player makes their way through a maze and finds the necessary items, they then face a boss fight with Lucifer, the cat from Cinderella. Sounds good.

Of course, we'd much rather know when the game's coming out, but obviously we're just going to have to be patient. Expect more (and hopefully more substantial) Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep info as we get it.
