The Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning Jetpack Joyride is making its way to the PlayStation Network this week.
A post on The PlayStation Blog confirmed that PS Vita, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 3 owners will have the chance to download the wildly successful mobile game later on Tuesday.
Once the game lands on the PlayStation Network (it's still not available at time of writing), Vita and PSP gamers can take control of the struggling gramophone salesman Barry Steakfries and guide him through level after level of side-scrolling adventure. Fun at a cost
Although Jetpack Joyride is currently free on both the App Store and Google Play, its development for PlayStation devices required Beatshapers and Halfbrick Studios to put a price of $3.99 (£2.49) on the game.
With the price comes the full Jetpack Joyride game, however, along with 34 in-game achievements to unlock.
As players unlock these achievements, they will also have the chance to collect 12 different jetpacks, 16 different gadgets to help them overcome enemies and obstacles, and over a dozen unique costumes.
it's not available thru the vita psn store here in north america. It's on the ps3 psn store, but says ps3/psp next to it (doesn't say vita). now the workaround where you save it to your ps3 and copy it to the vita might work, but it didn't seem to make it to (officially) the vita this week.
