We've been following this for a few weeks now, hoping it would turn out as rumour but the delay is now effectively official.

God of War: Chains of Olympus press release states an early 2008 release for the game, which had originally been expected to form part of this Christmas' PSP line-up.
And although we've suffered them before, this time it isn't simply a European delay, either. A quick check of some of the major US online retailers has revealed a similar situation facing PSP owners on the other side of the Atlantic, with release dates now ranging from January to as late as April, with the latter seemingly the more accurate estimation.
It's going to be a long wait...
