God of War: Chains of Olympus European release date confirmed?
We already knew Chains of Olympus is set for a March 4th 2008 release in North America but so far all we'd been told with regards to the European release was a rather vague "early 2008".
Well, a new batch of screens taken from the game's Attica, Tartarus and Helios levels prompted us to check out Sony Europe's press site, which now happily indicates a March 2008 date for Kratos' first outing on PSP.
To be honest, we say new screenshots but we're not entirely sure that's the case as there's been so many of them so far and, although hard to believe, our memory has its limits.
Anyway, the real point here is it currently seems as though we'll get to play the game alongside US PSP owners which, if it happens, would represent a welcome change from the usual considerable wait we have to endure for some of Sony's in-house handheld productions (which, to be fair, goes both ways US gamers have had to suffer delays on some of the European-developed titles, too).
