Rockstar looking to commit game crime on Sony's handheld

GTA: Chinatown Wars heading to the PSP

According to Videogamer.com, the hit DS crime sim GTA: Chinatown Wars is heading to the PSP.

"We're proud to extend this truly unique handheld Grand Theft Auto experience to PSP and offer a downloadable version of Chinatown Wars for PSPgo," Rockstar founder Sam Houser is reported as saying.

The game will apparently receive a massive graphical overhaul, being adjusted to fill the PSP's widescreen display and take advantage of its processing prowess.

"Rockstar Leeds has shown incredible talent in creating games that raise the bar in terms of depth and innovation on portables, and with Chinatown Wars we have a rich, fast-paced, and incredibly addictive entry into the series," Houser continues.

The PSP version will supposedly also feature new story missions, and will be available on both UMD and as a PSN download. More news as it comes in.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
