Unless you're on PlayStation Plus. Then it's free.

Title says it all for PSP Minis - A Space Shooter for Two Bucks!

As the developer itself suggests, A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! could be the game with the most generic and straightforward title in history.

A topdown arcade experience, you get to go on an intergalactic shooting spree, hopping from galaxy to galaxy, picking up power ups and wiping out hordes of swarming alien baddies as you go.

There are 16 levels and 10 enemy types to get to grips with.

Interspersed are tongue-in-cheek cutscenes from cast of fully voiced cartoon characters.

Yet it's the price that seems to be the main focus for PSP Minis (and PlayStation 3) owners, although for those subscribers on the PlayStation Plus scheme, it's even better as the game is free.

A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! is out now on PSN and costs $1.99.
