Animated TV series spins on UMD
Sony's always said it's going to open up the 60 mm 1.8 GB plastic-encased Universal Media Disc (UMD) for other companies to use - that's still to come - but Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will be releasing the animated Spider-Man series that aired on MTV in 2003. It's due 14 June, priced $20, although there's no news on a specific European release as yet.
