Xeodrifter is out right now on PS Vita. And also on PS4, but that doesn't fit in anyone's pocket and while Mark's away I refuse to step out of our clearly stated titular remit.

The game is a metroidvania style retro platformer about a teeny tiny spaceman who's bouncing about between four different planets, killing bosses, solving puzzles, and finding new equipment to help with his task.

It's been out on 3DS for a while now, and the venerable Mark Brown wasn't that enamoured with it when it did, saying "Xeodrifter isn't very inventive or creative, and unlocking bits of the map feels like busywork."

Which isn't what you'd call the highest of praise.

Still, if you want to ignore Mark and buy it for your Vita or PS4 anyway, it'll set you back £7.99 on PSN right now. And it's cross buy, so you'll get it on both.
