4th episode of The Walking Dead: Season 2 gets a new trailer and Vita, iOS release dates

Amid the Ruins is the fourth and penultimate episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season 2. We've all been waiting for news on it, and today it has arrived, at last.

Telltale announced today that Amid the Ruins is due to arrive on iOS on July 24th.

The Vita version of Amid the Ruins is coming to North America on July 22nd. European Vita owners have to wait until July 23rd to get their hands on it.

Unfortunately, Telltale hasn't confirmed the release date of Amid the Ruins for Android yet.

As with previous episodes, Amid the Ruins will be available as a £2.99 / $4.99 IAP for those who already own the game.

If you bought the Season Pass for £10.49 / $14.99 then you'll be able to download it at no extra cost.

You can get a glimpse of what to expect in Amid the Ruins in the trailer. You can watch it above. It seems that the conditions have got so bad that Clem is now always carrying a firearm.

The last episode of Season 2 was In Harm's Way. We gave it a Bronze Award, noting that it "is something of a come down after the magnificent [second episode] 'A House Divided'".

Let's hope that Amid the Ruins sees Season 2 return to its Gold Award-winning form, then.
