Vostok Inc. is a money-grabbing, planet farming, mini-game-loving sci-fi shooter

It's a bit of a stretch, but you may remember Vostok Inc. from Develop: Brighton's Big Indie Pitch back in July. Excitingly, we're definitely going to be able to get our hands on the game sometime in 2017.

To recap, Vostok Inc. is a tongue-in-cheek sci-fi shooter in which you step into the shoes of a newly-appointed CEO of Vostok Inc. As with any CEO your goal is to get dirty, filthy rich. In order to achieve this you've got to traverse the galaxy, exploring more than 40 planets to colonize across six solar systems, build factories, and start collecting the cash.

Once you've got the money you can upgrade your ship's features, and of course kill lots and lots of bad guys. It wouldn't be much of a shooter if there wasn't anything to shoot after all.

This retro game wouldn't be entirely complete without a handful of mini-games so take a break from the mayhem to kick back with 13 of them to choose from.
